Ken LaZebnik is coming to Texas State

Join veteran TV and screenwriter Ken LaZebnik, whose credits include co-writing Robert Altman’s last movie - Prairie Home Companion, and over a hundred episodes of network television, including shows such as Touched By An Angel, Star Trek: Enterprise, Army Wives and When Calls The Heart.

Students will get an opportunity to:

  • Learn more about Long Island University’s acclaimed TV Writers Studio, headed by Ken LaZebnik

  • Submit your writing samples for critique and evaluation for enrollment in the new, highly selective M.F.A. in Writing and Producing for Television

On Tuesday, November 27, Morgan State University students had the chance to hear a talk from TV Writers Studio's director, Ken LaZebnik about the program.

In addition to speaking on his experience writing for shows such as Touched by an Angel, Providence and Army Wives, Professor LaZebnik also provided students with a taste of what the TV Writers Studio will offer in experience and knowledge for passionate writers looking to write for television.

On Tuesday, November 27, University of Maryland students had the chance to hear a talk from TV Writers Studio's director, Ken LaZebnik about the program.

TV Writers Studio Open House

LIU Brooklyn will be hosting an open house on Sunday February 11th, 2018. TV Writers Studio's program director Norman Steinberg and Larry Banks, chair of the Media Arts department, will host a talk from 12:30 - 1:30 PM in the Media Arts Lounge (2nd Floor of Humanities Building).
